Meet the Irene First Responders Crew
Stephen Rogers, President
EMT
Stephen enjoys serving the community of Irene as a First Responder. Stephen and his wife, Lindsay, choose to raise their family in Irene because of the small-town atmosphere. Stephen enjoys attending Sunday church services, sporting events, and going on walks with his family around the community. He enjoys living in Irene to be close to family and friends. Stephen and his family look forward to Sunday in the Park the first Sunday of June each year and the annual Irene Rodeo!
Jesse Davis, Vice President
EMT
Jesse serves the community by volunteering as an Irene First Responder and Irene Volunteer Fireman. He enjoys the smalltown life Irene has to offer and being close to his family. Jesse enjoys camping at local campgrounds, fishing, and spending time at the river with friends. Each year Jesse looks forward to attending the annual Irene Rodeo and Legion Feather Party.

Sarah Erickson, Treasurer
EMT
Sarah serves the community of Irene by volunteering as a First Responder and serves on the Irene Community Center board. Sarah enjoys living and working in the community to be close to her family and friends. Her favorite recreational activity in the Irene area is spending time at Marindahl Lake. Each year Sarah looks forward to Irene-Wakonda’s Homecoming celebration and the rodeo!

Danielle Dubois, Secretary
EMT
Danielle serves the community of Irene by volunteering with the Irene First Responders. She and her husband, Brian, raise their family in Irene because it is where they grew up. Danielle enjoys living in Irene because everyone is friendly, there is a good school system and opportunities for her kids to participate in sports! Her favorite recreational activities in Irene include cheering on the Irene-Wakonda Eagles football team, camping at local campgrounds with family and friends, and exploring on their side by side. Danielle looks forward to attending the Irene Rodeo each summer!

Jacob Kribell
EMR
Jake is involved in the community through the Irene First Responders, Irene Volunteer Fire Department and Irene Rodeo Association. Jake enjoys serving as a First Responder and Fireman because he enjoys helping those in need within the community. Jake and his wife, Makayla, choose to raise their family in Irene because everyone treats you like family. His favorite recreational activities in Irene included hunting and lifting weights. Additionally, Jake enjoys bonfire with friends, Irene-Wakonda football games, and that everyone comes together when in need of help! Jake looks forward to the annual Irene Rodeo each June!
Landon Dubois
EMR
Landon is involved in the community by volunteering as an Irene First Responder and Irene Volunteer Fireman. In the summer Landon enjoys working for the Irene City. He enjoys the small town feeling of Irene and the people. Landon looks forward to attending the Irene Rodeo each year! Additionally, Landon appreciates the support of the community the volunteer departments receive.

Denise Aguirre
EMR and Nurse
Denise serves the community by volunteering with the Irene First Responders. She is employed by Sunset Manor and enjoys living and working in Irene because of the small community atmosphere and close friends. Denise enjoys attending Irene – Wakonda football games in the fall and looks forward to the Irene Rodeo each summer. Additionally, Denise enjoys serving the community by participating in various fundraising events.
Amanda Warriner - Sterk
Paramedic
Amanda serves the community of Irene volunteering as a First Responder and is actively involved with the Irene Rodeo Association. She enjoys living in Irene as it is a small-town environment near big city convenience with a short commute to work and great neighbors! Recreational activities that Amanda enjoys are horseback riding and the Irene Rodeo. Amanda looks forward to the annual Irene Rodeo and Bull Bash events each year!
